DinoMax
DINOMAX, result of choices aimed at the maximum rationality and efficiency, continues the product and dimensional philosophy where the other FPT’s portal machines (STINGER and DINO) must stop because of the workpiece dimensions or weight. These restrictions do not any longer justify the moving of the workpieces but the machine will move around them.
DINOMAX is a moving bridge Gantry machine of last generation having among its main characteristics a considerable dimensional structure, studied by FPT’s engineers to grant the exploitation of its dynamic and stiffness potentialities for heavy and high accuracy machining.
In the base configuration DINOMAX is supplied with the famous universal Direct Drive head; its undercutting machining features, millesimal positioning and continuous movement of the 2 axes in the space (International FPT’s patent) are one-of-a-kind.
Thus, with the same dimensions and strokes, it allows bigger working areas.
DINOMAX can also be equipped with an auto-calibration electronic device named AUTOCAL, designed and patented by FPT.
This device permits to the user of DINOMAX to perform a periodical control with the relevant automatic calibration of the machine, always obtaining the utmost performance and efficiency. Furthermore, in case of minor collision, the operator can check by himself and eventually reset the basic geometrical characteristics of the machine in few minutes and without extra costs.
DINOMAX can also be equipped with a wide quantity of accessories allowing the personalization of the machine in accordance with the type of work.
DINOMAX has all the features to satisfy the diversified needs of all the sectors such as the aerospace and energy, high accuracy mechanical applications as well as moulds and dies, models, prototypes.

Raid-XL
Reduced machining time: By using a flat bottom endmill and maintaining perpendicularity to the complex surface you can step-over the full diameter of the cutter thereby dramatically reducing the required number of passes across a surface. The same principle applies to sidemilling of angled surfaces.
